1 - Stop accepting highly polluting plastic bags. - Spend
a few dollars and buy a couple of canvas shopping bags, which
will last decades of safe use, and say no to paper, or plastic
bags, and proudly take your own canvas tote bags to the market
To dispose of our biodegradable garbage, we should buy a mid size plastic container with a tight led on it and use it for all of our fruits peels and pits, vegetables cutouts, animal bones, etc., in general any biodegradable foods element that grow out of Mother Earth. - And all the rest we should recycle and take to our apartment building, or town’s recycling places.
2 - Buy a dozen, or so, soft cotton handkerchiefs for
wiping our noses and mouths. We should also buy a dozen cotton
wiping cloth and dish towels, especially for use in the kitchen,
bathroom and generally around the house. Simple healthy solution
that can save us thousands of dollars a year and prevent trees
turning into paper products and soon after into garbage.
3 - We need to constantly remind ourselves that our one,
and only home, Planet Earth, is not disposable. We must stop buying
any disposable products, and products made out of plastic, or
packaged in plastic. We need to truly and seriously reuse and
recycle. Manufacturing and transporting plastic bottles causes
enormous environmental harm to us all. - A gallon (128.oz) of
plastic bottled water costs on average about $8, but a much better
quality water, filtered tap water, costs about $0.25 cents a gallon,
the water filter, which will last a year, if used for drinking
water only costs $30. - It has been estimated that a family unit
of 2 people on average, drinks about 220 gallons of water each
year, which means a substantial saving of $1730 a year.
In the United States alone every MINUTE -
2,000,000 -, highly polluting Plastic Water Bottles are used
and dumped in garbage. Each year over 1,051,200,000,000 Plastic
Water Bottles are dumped in garbage in the United States.
- Lets stop this reckless behavior before we pass the point of
4 - We should buy a portable thermos. A 25-oz stainless
steel vacuum flask double insulated tumbler one time cost, between
$25 to $30. Cool to touch exterior while holding our filtered
tap water cold, or liquids such as tea or soup hot inside. - Americans
spend average of $5 per day on hot beverages, making our own hot
beverages at home and taking with us to work, or to play in the
park, using our portable thermos, could save a family unit of
2 people $3650 per year. - Aside from our monitory savings, we
are also going to prevent Billions of Paper and Styrofoam Cups
and Plastic covers turning into highly polluting garbage. - We
should also get a ceramic mug for drinking water, tea and having
our soup at work. Obviously keeping a stainless steel knife, spoon
and a fork for use at work is also a must.
5 - We must muster the political will to hold all manufacturers
responsible for the 100% safe recycling of all their products
and containers they are shipped in. No one knows better than manufacturers
what goes into their products and how they can safely be reused
and recycled. This law would be a good environmental protection
law, as well as a nice means of saving on raw material for the
manufacturers of the products.
We must learn from Ireland, which in 2007, in less than just 6 months eradicated the use of plastic bags by imposing a $0.33 tax on plastic bags in the country. We should also gather our political courage once more to change the minimum deposit requirement for all plastic, glass and aluminum containers from $0.05, to at least $0.35, and extend the program to include detergent, vegetable oil, water, wine and beer bottles, all plastic containers, glass jars and bottles, aluminum cans and pre-packed products plastic bags.
6 - Buy a cookbook, or simply search the Internet where
we can find thousands of recipes. We should especially buy organic
seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, naturally raised and produced
dairy, meet and eggs to ensure a healthy and happy disease and
drug free life. We must learn the joy of cooking. We should cook
as much as possible to avoid consuming the unhealthy, cancer causing,
full of chemical preservatives and chemical coloring and artificial
addictive chemical taste crap of the restaurants foods / deliveries.
Please buy a couple of bicycles, one for each member of your family. Ride your bicycle together enjoying your family and our beautiful environment, while getting a great exercise and quality family time. Avoid unnecessary driving and remember that cars burn over 65% of fossil fuel and 65% of the polluting harmful gases are also released in to our environment by cars. - If we cut down our driving in half, we are doing a great service to our children and ourselves. - Global Warming is a threat to our species and we must reverse it, before we reach the point of no return: 2018, or face the end of us, the humanity.
7 - Start using Hydrogen Peroxide, ( H2O2 ), which is
one of the few simple miracle substances still available to the
public. Its safety and multiple uses ranks high and unmatched.
If you have never used Hydrogen Peroxide you are overlooking one
of the most powerful healing tool ever discovered. Most of us
started on hydrogen peroxide shortly after birth. Not only does
mother's milk contain high amounts of H2O2, the amount contained
in the first milk (colostrum) is even higher. This seems only
reasonable now that we know one of its main functions is to activate
and stimulate the immune system. There are also millions who are
suffering needlessly because they either do not know about hydrogen
peroxide or they have been misinformed about its use. - From cleaning
your sinks, counters, table tops with hydrogen peroxide to kill
germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag
when you wipe, or spray it on the counters. Add a cup of hydrogen
peroxide to a load of whites in your laundry instead of bleach
to whiten them. Please do
not take my word for it, look it up.
8 - We need to talk to our friends, family and neighbors
to form our own community's citizen action committee. We then
must get involved to elect true representatives of the people
for local, city, state and federal elective offices, and replace
our currant system of mediocrity and stupidity with intelligent
and responsible system of representation, from the people, for
the people and begin correcting the grave and stupid mistakes
of the past.
One of the incredibly stupid, and greedy, but deliberate policy of the recent past, which must be reversed immediately, is the removal of - Light Electric Street Surface Trains, or Charley Cars Public Transportation -, changing the great landscape of a civilized, clean and friendly Light Electric Street Trains into massive networks of polluting parking lots, or highways, full of gas-guzzling cars, causing deadly pollutions, oil dependence, Global Warring for plundering oil from other nations, Global Warming, and countless health problems, destroying our one and only Home Planet Earth and killing people.
To use our precious farmlands and grow crop to make ethanol for fuelling cars is an incredibly stupid greedy act, it is even dumber than removing the Charley Cars. But the obvious result of rise in food and fuel will bring in billions to the bank accounts of you know who? - Acts like this will force poor nations to attack their rain forests clear-cut the little forest, trees we have left to eliminate food shortages. - Criminal Billionaires at work again, to get even richer, on the high fuel prices, endless taxpayer subsidies and high costs of foods. This will cause food shortages, leading to disasters consequences all over the world. - You see, the right idea is not to cause food shortages and cut trees, rather to get-rid of all combustion engines, and replace them with electric ones, and luxurious, comfortable, safe, clean and low cost electric light-rail Public Transportation, Appropriate Wide Bicycle Paths and walking boulevards full of trees and flowers for public use.
- If we look around, objectively we can find many simple,
money saving and safe solutions to replace thedamaging and destructive
ones. - One good example is the use of rechargeable batteries,
(available in all sizes), instead of the highly polluting disposable
ones. - Another good example is the use of Compact Fluorescent
Light Bulbs instead of the regular energy wasting incandescent
Hemp Prohibition; is the second incredibly stupid, and greedy,
but deliberate policy of the recent past, which must be reversed.
- We must legalize Hemp cultivation in the United States, and
take advantage of hemp countless environmentally safe products,
instead of buying and importing hemp products from all over the
Where did the word 'Marijuana' came from? - In the mid 1930s,
the M-word was created to tarnish the good image and phenomenal
history of the hemp plant...as you will read. The facts cited
here, with references, are generally verifiable in the Encyclopedia
Britannica, which was printed on hemp paper for over 150 years:
A - All schoolbooks were made from hemp or flax paper
until the 1880s; Hemp Paper Reconsidered, Jack Frazier, 1974.
B - It was LEGAL TO PAY TAXES WITH HEMP in America
from 1631 until the early 1920s; LA Times, August 12, 1981.
C - REFUSING TO GROW HEMP in America during the 17th,
18th, 19th Centuries WAS AGAINST THE LAW! - Farmers could be
jailed in Virginia for refusing to grow hemp from 1763 to 1769;
Hemp in Colonial Virginia, G. M. Herdon.
D - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and other founding
fathers GREW HEMP; Washington and Jefferson Diaries. Jefferson
smuggled hemp seeds from China to France then to America.
E - Benjamin Franklin owned one of the first paper mills
in America and it processed hemp. Also, the War of 1812 was
fought over hemp. Napoleon wanted to cut off Moscow's Hemp export
to England; Emperor Wears No Clothes, Jack Herer.
F - For thousands of years, 90% of all ships' sails
and rope were made from hemp. The word 'canvas' is Dutch for
hemp; Webster's New World Dictionary.
G - 80% of all textiles, fabrics, clothes, linen, drapes,
bed sheets, etc. were made from hemp until the 1920s with the
introduction of the cotton gin.
H - Quality paints and varnishes were made from hemp
seed oil until 1937. 58,000 tons of hemp seeds were used in
America for paint products in 1935; Sherman Williams Paint Co.
testimony before Congress against the 1937 Marijuana Tax Act.
I - Henry Ford's first Model-T was built to run on
hemp gasoline and the CAR ITSELF WAS CONTRUCTED FROM HEMP! On
his large estate, Ford was photographed among his hemp fields.
The car, 'grown from the soil,' had hemp plastic panels whose
impact strength was 10 times stronger than steel; Popular Mechanics,
J - Hemp called 'Billion Dollar Crop.' It was the first
time a cash crop had a business potential to exceed a billion
dollars; Popular Mechanics, Feb., 1938.
K - Mechanical Engineering Magazine (Feb. 1938) published
an article entitled 'The Most Profitable and Desirable Crop
that Can be Grown.' It stated that if hemp was cultivated using
20th Century technology, it would be the single largest agricultural
crop in the U.S. and the rest of the world.
Hemp, or cannabis, or marijuana was outlawed in 1937 because
it threatened the nation-less corporate interests of - William
Randolph Hearst and - DuPont. They had to get rid of the competition.
- Hearst's yellow journalism newspaper chain wrote scathing stories
about "marijuana" - a word he made up - because he knew no one
would believe them about hemp, which George Washington himself
The decorticator, a state of the art hemp harvester, led Popular
Mechanics to call hemp the New Billion Dollar Crop. - - Because
of printing and bindery lead time required for publication, this
February 1938 article was actually prepared in the spring of 1937,
when cannabis hemp was still legal to grow and was an incredibly
fast-growing industry. - - Newsprint could now be produced far
more cheaply than any other method, and one acre of hemp could
produce as much newsprint as four acres of forest trees. - Hearst
owned vast timber acreage and competition from the hemp industry
might have driven his paper manufacturing out of business. He
stood to lose millions of dollars.
Hemp is recognized worldwide
as the oldest cultivated fiber plant known. It is naturally resistant
to bacteria and mold. Hemp literally "grows like a weed." Therefore
pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers are not needed to cultivate
this amazing plant fiber. - We are already buying billions of
dollars worth of products made from Hemp at highly inflated prices
from Canada, China and many other countries. Why not stop this
idiotic policy and cultivate Hemp right here in the US? We must
make it happen.
Definition of Greed:
Greed is idiotically short sighted, greed is unreliable, greed
is highly selfish, greed is blind, greed is destructive, greed
is criminal, greed knows no limit, greed is endless and unethical.
Greed's endless criminal selfishness, competition, Global Warring
and Global Warming has brought humankind to the brink of self-annihilation.
- Greed could be best describe as one's excessive desire to
acquire, or possess more than what one needs and deserves, especially
with respect to material wealth and worldly possessions. - Greed
grows in the absence of common sense, moral and ethical standards,
which leads to suppressing the urge in one's conscience to prefer
doing right, over wrong. - Many believe, as I do, and attach
to competition, the stigma of selfish greed. Humanity must choose
Cooperation for survival instead of Competition, in order to
stop greed in its tracks and bring humanity closer together
out of the danger zone of self-annihilation.
Definition of Boycott:
Boycott, is an inherent right of the public to come together
in unity abstaining from buying, using and or dealing with merchants
of greed and perpetrators of destructive environmental, social,
economic and political practices currently plaguing the whole
of humanity. - Boycott, is an instrument of gaining political
grounds and objectives. Boycott, is an expression of non-violent
and constructive means of protest to peacefully correct and
replace the destructive environmental, social, economic and
political practices with wide-range of all encompassing prospers
policies and procedures.
Definition of Unity:
To unite is to bring together so as to form a whole, or demonstrate
in combination, or a combined group of people, sharing common
interest, attitude, or action: 'the love that unites humanity'.
- - To become, or seem to become joined, formed, or combined
into a unit, to join and act together in a common purpose, or
endeavor, to be or become bound together by adhesion. - - To
put or bring into an association, or relationship joined by
common bond of humanity, to meet and merge with, to join forces,
to connect, to become a part, or member of a club, or group,
or a committee to participate with others in an act, or activity.
Definition of Politics:
Politics is the art and science of managing or governing one's
entire social and economic affairs interactively in conjunction
with the rest of the community, especially the collective governing
of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration
and control of its internal and external relationships. Politics
is the activity and interaction engaged in by any given society's
citizens, to build community and establish communal services
for all. Politics is the maneuvering methods and tactics involved
in managing any given society or state government. A politician
is an individual, holding an intriguing and rewarding career
of public service that honorably discharges hers or his duties
in an ethical and caring manner.
All politics are local. We, the people, must at all times
think globally, but act locally. We should never forget that
Reform always begins with oneself. - The spirit and inspiration
of reform can only be emitted, advanced and spread by, and through
those who have already reformed themselves. - Take the initiative,
share the information and build your own Green
Community where you live.
The sole purpose of our organization is to inform the public
and protect our one and only home, our environment, Planet Earth.
